19yrs old Sudanese lady, Anok Yai, has became famous overnight after photos of her surfaced on social media.
Anok Yai became an internet sensation after a photographer for Thesunk took a photo of her at the Saint Howard University homecoming party in Washington D.C.
He captioned it
"Saw her right at the end of yardfest"
Anok Yai in a Twitter post said her followers and supporters grew overnight. She wrote:
“Can't believe I went from just 150 followers to almost 8K in one day. The supports overwhelming”.
"My phone just started vibrating rapidly for a long, long time".
"At first, I honestly thought someone made a meme of me or something" .Yai revealed she realized her photo was going viral. Her new followers on the social media app began tagging numerous modeling agencies to give her a contract. As a result, Yai said she's heard from three modeling agencies.
