A Facebook user identified as De Crowned Prince took to Facebook, posting that A bill to restrict Bayelsa men from marrying outside the state after dating and dumping Bayelsa women is set to scale through first reading in Bayelsa state house of Assembly next week.
Also as part of Government efforts to discourage men from dating Bayelsa girls for a very longtime without proposing to them for marriage, the Bill will also allow girls/women to propose to men.
Reports from a reliable source reveales that as a result of this Bill, "Ministry of Marriage" could also be established by Bayelsa state govt as credible candidates have started lobbying for "Commissioner for Marriage".
Bayelsans however have reacted to this reports, stating that the Government should think of how to make the state better and not deciding on how a man will live his private life.
