The community of Okoroba in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa state came under severe attack last night by unidentified gunmen.
The gunmen numbering up to fifteen stormed the community in a commando style and shot at random to scare the residents of the community away before properties worth millions of naira were looted.
Reports has it that a chief in the community, Michael Bokolo- Arugu told newsmen that; the home of the late environmental activist, Oronto Douglas was not spared as they broke into it and stole properties and other valuables.
He called on state government to their aid with a view to providing security as the community has been under constant attacks.
