Local Government Cashier Confirmed To Be Kidnapped In Bayelsa State, Chairman Condemns The Act

The cashier of Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State identified as Mr Oyaima Sele - Ikisikpo has been confirmed to be kidnapped.

The local government chairman who confirmed the incident on social media, condemned the act in a statement which was posted on Facebook. His statement:

I CONDEMN THE KIDNAPPING OF THE CASHIER, BRASS LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

I was shocked when the report of the kidnapping of the Cashier, Brass Local Government Area, Mr. Oyaima Sele - Ikisikpo reached my notice.

I condemn in totality the kidnapping of the Council helmsman and decry the negative impact such dastardly acts have on the image of the Council Area.

The kidnapping of Mr. Oyaima Sele - Ikisikpo as an act of wickedness perpetrated by evil and cold-hearted criminal elements who are defying government's directive to drop arms and embrace the policies and programs aimed at addressing their demands.

I hereby call on the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to intensify effort to rescue the kidnapped Council Staff.

At the end of his statement, the chairman called on The Nigerian Police Force and other Security agencies to put in maximum efforts to rescue the kidnapped local government cashier.
