A youthful Nigerian man has met his unfavorable demise in the lethargic town of Ijebu-Igbo after he was assaulted by cultists.
There was not kidding uproar yesterday after a battle softened out up the sluggish town of Ijebu-Igbo in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State causing the death of a young fellow.
It was assembled that the man was hacked to death by cultists. This is scarcely seven days back after a bleeding conflict between individuals from a faction gathering and men of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) in Ijebu-Igbo occurred leaving no less than six people, including a police officer dead.
The most recent occurrence was said to have happened after a hot contention that resulted amid a football game at LA Primary School, Oke-Agbo, in Ijebu-Igbo.

“The incident happened yesterday evening when some youths were playing football on the primary school field. It was during the match that a score of them engaged in a serious argument and before anyone knew what was happening, the whole place was on rampage".
“We had to run for our dear lives. It was later that we got information that one person was killed. The victim suffered deep machete cuts inflicted on him. No one had expected a such killing would occur again, bearing in mind that policemen and other security operatives had been deployed in the town about a week ago,” said another source".
